26-year-old Cody Karey has been preparing his entire life for his musical career. Not surprising considering Cody was singing before he even learned to talk. By six, he was performing country songs before audiences in and around his rural small town Fort St. James, and by the time he was a teenager, Cody was taking the stage in big cities and had already appeared on television. It was around this time he discovered a love for the music of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli.

Cody entered a David Foster talent competition, where he reached the finals, and first began the eight-year journey that ended up with the Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/ record exec signing him to Verve Records. During his 8 year development period with Foster, Cody made countless on-stage appearances on some of the world’s biggest stages including Madison Square Garden in New York. These appearances allowed Cody to hone his craft by sharing the stage with a long list of world-class artists such as Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Cher, Donny Osmond, Paul Anka, Ruben Studdard, Katharine McPhee, Delta Goodrem, Peter Cetera, Phillip Bailey, Jackie Evancho and Charice to name a few. Cody Karey’s self-titled debut album emerged soon after, comprised of a number of love songs and ballads that showcase the power of Karey’s voice, notably his single “You Are The Song” and “A Million Pieces” (with programming Canadian icon, Stephan Moccio), both penned and produced by Grammy Award winning producer, Bernie Herms.

Though he considers himself first and foremost a singer, music is not Karey’s only artistic passion. In January 2015, CTV and Proper Television revealed that Cody would be featured on the hit reality TV series “MasterChef Canada” as a season 2 finalist. By the end of the season, Cody developed a reputation not only as a fan favourite, but also was the first ever MasterChef Canada contestant to be invited back into the competition after being eliminated. Having placed 4th over-all, Cody’s considers his culinary curiosity satisfied, and with this exciting new group project - Citizen West - returns his complete dedication to crafting food for the soul; Music.

Brett Pruneau is a towering vocal force. Born and raised in a small town near

St. Louis MO, Brett has always expressed his passion for life through music. Though he is also a gifted pianist and arranger, when he opens his mouth to sing, there is simply no questioning his true calling. Now based primarily out of Las Vegas, Brett has performed throughout North America and Europe since he was a teenager. For over a decade, he has studied various styles of vocal technique in Chicago, London, Dublin, New York City and most recently Vegas. At the age of 17, Brett was rewarded with his first big break in the Music Industry: Through a stroke of fate, during the intermission of a ‘Celtic Woman’ concert, 17-year-old Brett introduced himself to the Multi-Platinum Global Sensation’s Emmy-Nominated Creator, Producer and Musical Director, David Downes. Impressed with Brett’s powerful, soaring voice, Downes reached out almost immediately to express his excitement-ultimately offering to mentor Brett under an Artist Development contract. Without too much convincing, Brett packed his bags and re-located to Ireland, where he experienced some of the highlights of his young career over the next nearly 4 years. Downes’ mentorship offered a range of exciting opportunities, including recording and performing with various members of Celtic Woman, extensive experience in studio technique and the art of recording, various tours throughout Europe and Germany (including a sold out performance at The Munich Philharmonic Concert Hall) and performing a solo concert at The National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland among others. As Brett matured and his development period with Downes drew to an end, it became clear that the next step was to spread his wings and strike out on his own. Currently based out of Las Vegas, Brett performs regularly on the Las Vegas Strip, having recently headlined the show “Piano Man” at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. He was also the lead vocalist in the show “Jubilee” at Bally’s Casino, Las Vegas’ longest running show (34-years). Brett continues his relationship with his mentor, Downes, and now focuses solely on his collaborative pursuits with 'Citizen West’, which he considers to be his most fulfilling endeavor yet.
